The course is designed to offer a hybridization of knowledge enabling future graduates to work in the traditional fields of labour consultancy and human resource management, as well as managerial advice for social innovation. Furthermore, the course also aims at training individuals capable of initiating processes of change in the Public Administration through the management and innovation of administrative and managerial processes and technological innovation in SMEs, with particular attention to the issue of digital transformation. In addition to the collaboration with local companies and stakeholders (through seminars, workshops, training events ...), the Course is enriched with agreements with multinational networks of service companies providing management and strategic consultancy services, auditing of financial statements and legal and tax consultancy, which will provide continuous collaboration over the three-year period, also in the context of individual teachings and, where possible, also through curricular internships.
The Degree Course includes a common first year with training activities that provide basic notions in the principles of public and private law, historical knowledge of the most important political theories and/or of the conflict among parties, companies and trade unions, English language, theory and history of political economics. The following two-year period includes common training activities in the fields of administrative, tax, commercial and labour law, social statistics, macroeconomics, industrial psychology, business economics, and sociology of social innovation, to provide multidisciplinary methodological and cultural knowledge, essential for the general education of the graduate of the class. At the same time, differentiated activities are envisaged between the two curricula, based on the choice made by the student in the second year: the first curriculum includes specific training activities on European labour law, social security and criminal law to strengthen the skills of graduates who want to work in labour consultancy, union relations and human resource management; in the second curriculum, the specific training activities in the field of political science and the analysis of public policies, public accounting and the criminal liability of public and private bodies are designed to offer more complete training to graduates who intend to work in national and international public administrations or private companies, with the aim of grafting innovation processes functional to a sustainable development of the territory with a view to collaboration among universities, civil society and the market.
The third year of the course also includes a mandatory curricular internship activity enabling students to carry out practical experience outside the classroom in public bodies, companies and/or private offices, to complete their learning process. The skills acquired by students during the three-year period will allow direct access to the 2nd cycle Degree Course in Public Administration Sciences (LM-63).
