The focus of the 2nd cycle degree course in "Lifelong learning science" is centred on issues related to adult education and to training in contexts of work, social unease and communities in public administration and in the private social sector.
The educational programme covers the typical disciplinary ambits of pedagogical and teaching methodological, psychological, sociological, philosophical, juridical, economic and political subjects. These subjects are accompanied by other educational activities related to various themes and subjects aiming at integrating the knowledge of pedagogical sciences with the study of other sciences (Ecology, Musicology and History of Music, Germanic Philology, Glottology and Linguistics, Modern Language Teaching Methodology, French/Spanish/English/German/Albanian/Arabic language, Demoethnoanthropological studies, Motorial activities methods and teaching methodologies, Theoretical/Moral Philosophy, Theory of languages, History of philosophy, General and Social Pedagogy, History of Pedagogy, Special teaching Methodology and Pedagogy, Experimental Pedagogy, Psychology of development/of education , Industrial and organisational psychology, Dynamic Psychology, Political Science, Sociology of economic processes and work/of environment/ Regional sociology, Sociology of political phenomena). These activities also aim at driving the educational programme towards the needs of the labour market.
During the course, students will also have the opportunity to experiment, through specific educational activities, the close observation of issues and key aspects of their future professional role through the acquisition of useful knowledge for entering the labour market, according to an "empowerment" logic and to the guidelines proposed in the phase of planning, or according to their interest and personal skills.
The course trains professionals capable of managing aspects of adult lifelong education in contexts of work, social unease and communities in public administration and in the private social sector.
The specific objectives of the course are related to the advanced knowledge and competences which are needed to work as specialists of adult education in professional and lifelong education actions, in actions for the requalification, vocational guidance skills assessment and job placement.

- Pedagogical and teaching-methodological subjects;
- Ethics, economics, Law, Business Organisation, Economic Policy, European, National and Regional law;
- Computer science and telematic communication for distance learning;
- Foreign languages and literatures, with respect also to specific vocabularies.
